NOVIKOV, THE MARINE DOCTOR

Abstract
The present article is dedicated to the graduate of Emperor’s Military Medical Academy, marine doctor N. A. Novikov and addresses his medical and research activities when he was on service in Kronstadt at the Her Emperors Majesty Great Princess Alexandra Aleksandrovna’s Fifth Crew. Due to his efforts, dentistry rooms were organized at ship squadrons and on Class I vessels, including the cruiser «Aurora». In 1907, N. A. Novikov issued his monograph «Brief Notes on Dental Diseases and Cure Thereof». N. A. Novikov delivered lectures to medical assistants at Nikolayevskiy Naval Hospital in Kronstandt.
